There are no scientific studies that support the idea that the LVA detects lies. In fact, a couple studies show that it is no more accurate than flipping a coin. A research article by two speech scientists concluded that the theory on which the program is based is absolute nonsense. In addition, its creator, who is claimed to be a sophisticated mathematician, doesn't even hold a college degree!
This is absolute pseudoscience of the highest level. Worse than the polygraph.
