  • Watco oil. I haven't found a good finish for basswood. It is very soft and the finish tends to be uneven. I tend to decorate them with acrylic or lacquer. Using a light or walnut watco oil and bees wax will give an antique gold finish. looks kind of surreal

    What was the type of oil did you said you rub inwith bees wax?? How about Basswood what is a good finish for that??
