Since I already did classical pieces and named them after Pandora ("Pandora's Birth") and Poseidon ("Poseidon") I thought it was only fitting to name one after Aphrodite. These type of pieces for piano and cello are always very easy for me. It's almost like my guilty pleasure to literally do them on the side. I never think and ponder the melody for long, I just "follow my ear" and it's always refreshing to find out where it's gonna go. Somehow I can find my own emotional state in the piece when it's finished though there is absolutely no lyrical content. I find it freeing. I guess I was feeling rather mellow and content cos this is quite peaceful! :) There are two new songs coming up later but thought I'd post this one first. Cheers!
