@SoundsLikeACity when he rewelds the frame does he preheat the metal, tig weld it (not mig,but Tig), than re heat it and carbonize it? if he doesn't he is just making it worse every time he welds it. trust me i own a bmx company and i make frames for a living. i have had some parts from just about every brand over the years that have sucked a dick (except for standard, i even had a bad FBM stem once). oh course some eastern shit is going to break, it will happen with every other brand too.

Well, I have an eastern 2-9er double wall rim.
The fucking thing bends easier than my original flow stock rim.
And the bearings in the cassette are shit.
I have to tear it apart once a week to replace broken bearings.
And its not just me, my friend has it, too, and he has the same problems.
Another friend of mine has an eastern grim reaper frame.
Worst piece of shit ever.
He has had to re-weld it at least 4 times already.
Verdict - Eastern can suck a dick.

@SoundsLikeACity First of all Eastern makes a quality product. with that being said i don't like eastern much but that is because i think what they make is ugly. the eastern in my user name has nothing to do with the eastern bmx company, i used to race for a team that was around before eastern bmx was and we were called eastern racing. name one product eastern makes that is below the industry standard?

DK has been around forever and has been making bikes since way before you got into riding. ive been riding since 95' and trust me they make a very good product
