A classic grammy winning tune, by Larry Henley and Jeff Silbar. It was originally offered to Kenny Rogers to sing, who turned it down instead Bette Midler took it on, and the rest is history! Soundtrack to the film "Beaches" You can buy my interpretation of this great tune on my "Wind Beneath My Wings" CD available from my website: marcusreynolds.com

  • im also a trombone player and that does sound beautiful but i dont know if its you because at 0:30 you move the slide and there is no glisando

  • thanks for the brill comment. The alleged glissando that didn't happen was actually nearly a wrong note corrected at the last minute. When I play my solo concerts I don't use music it's all from the heart-- so is the occasional mistake .

  • @marcusreynoldsdotcom I'm a trombone player too and the footage is definitely not you playing this recording. It might as well be you playing another version of this song or another song altogether, but it's definitely not the same recording.
