My mom had her. She is special. I would that say that one is the most prettiest from all the barbies she had (and her kens dolls!).

My friend had Malibu Barbie and we used to play with her and all her other Barbie dolls all the time, until she gave them away. I always wanted that doll and sshe said if she had known, she would've given me the doll. Argh!!!!

We had this one (my sister and I) and we lived for those glasses....we always made Malibu Barbie the party/hippie type in our doll plays and she'd be the one to get arrested for having pot and hanging out with older Ken with sideburns!..Ha ha!..We really knew how to play real with our dolls!! Alot of times our Mom would say "Where did u learn that from?"..and we'd say...."TV!"

They must have had this doll remade later in the 70's I remember having / getting this doll & as per year stated I would have been 3 yrs old & I was not 3 yrs old when I received her. Sure does bring back memories though.

my mom has one of these but she cut off the hair so i found a madazine that was selling oringinal barbie and malibue barbie so i want 2 get my mom a new one!
