What were the organizers thinking? That gaudy back drop simply overpowered the dancer, and totally distracted from her movements and expression. Please print all your advertising, logos and art work on the programs. But Kathak dancers portray minute hand gestures and mudras that just cannot be seen with a loud rangeen barakdaar backdrop.
