Masinde Muliro University in Kenya is engaged in a simple yet profound use of technology for learning in rural schools that have little or no electricity and no internet. Rather than leave them "disconnected", they are bringing them into the 21st century by packaging hi-end science simulations on mobile workstations - and carry an internet-like experience to the students out in their village. It's simple, it's just a beginning - and it's already working.
