Very interesting video. I'm pretty new to this stuff - does that also have a control for collective pitch?
Also, you might want to look up here on youtube something like "gmod swashplate". Theres a guy by the name of XXXmags who has created many helicopters with full swashplates in a game called Garry's Mod (gmod). The game simulates physics and allows you to build things, even such things as swashplates. I've been trying, myself, but with little luck.

Brilliant video! I've always wanted to see a working rotor head and swash plate close up. I had a basic idea how it works but thanks to your vid I can see the intricate variations that the blades move through.

This depiction does not have collective pitch as it was not needed in my idea of a fixed pitch rotor. It also would add many complications as to design.
