'All of the stars are fading away' My Goodbye ♥

I guess this is it. Santi was sold to the first people who came to look at him. Im devastated but I know I couldnt ask for a better home.. they already love him to pieces and he seems to like them back. Best of luck to them with my boy.

This video is a few days early, he isnt leaving until Friday, but I made it and put it up now because to be honest I dont think Ill be able to face it on Friday. I also havent put any words in as I dont think there are any words for me to describe how I feel about this horse or the journey weve had together.

06.08.2005 - 23.04.2010. Nearly 5 years. This horse has been there with me through everything. I had no idea what I was doing when I first got him, my first horse, I didnt know how to school them or bring on a barely backed 4 year old. So many fights, so many tears and tantrums where I just wanted to give up. But if I had, I wouldnt have had the journey that Ive had. We grew together; he became my world- he still is. As everyone that knows him will say, he is one in a million. So many things I will never forget, our holiday with him, our first shows, the beach, our first xc.. even just our first canter without him bucking me off. His arab moments where backwards was the only gear, the times when all 4 legs came off the floor at once, his head flicks when hes happy, the way hell run to the gate as soon as I arrive at the stables. He became my dream come true, and I will never forget him.

He is only going 30 mins away, so I will be visiting him, so keep a watch out for that. I wont be getting another horse, but I have some wonderful friends who are going to let me keep riding theirs.. so hopefully this wont be the last video.

so glad he has a great home. i cried at ur vid. ur jornery with him reminds me of mine and milos, and i don't think i could ever be as brave as you and manage to sale my boy. when i saw his advert on horsemart i was tempted to get rid of mine and ring up :') ive always found him absolutely beautiful.

i'll miss the videos of you so much; you really came a long long way and you should be so proud of what you achieved :') it cant have been an easy decision and im happy for you that hes still nearby.
