Chalo sulky huh? Thats what i have!
-
Hi, I sort of do this with my GSD, except with skates which freaks my mom out since it's kind of dangerous.Anyways, I'm considering buying a real sulky like yours, but had a question first. She loves pulling me on skates, and loves doing it fast. However, this lead to her skinning her paw pads really badly. Are there any boots that would prevent this? Are regular dog boots good enough?

What a pretty collie!

@typalexandra The wheels are really large like bicycle wheels so they are easy to pull. When you ride a bike you know how little it takes to get going on flat pavement with only one or two pedal pushes? I'm thinking it's like that--super easy to pull.

I do this with my dogs (they are huskies. :D) and a kicksled on winter. My dad has also said that he might add wheels to one of the sleds, so we could use them on summer too.
The dogs really love it. :)

What an interesting cart design. I have never seen one like that before.
awesome!! I would do that with my dog if she was a little bigger :p The wagon you sit in, is that a wagon for shetlandponies or is it homemade? =)

Yeah, the dog has to be 50+ pounds. It is in fact a cart made for dogs, I bought it from someone who makes them (you can search Chalo Sulky).

No of course not, I wouldn't do it if it did! It's designed to pull the weight up on his harness when you sit, so his back isn't harmed and it's easy pulling on pavement.
