@aspiringdrummer17 We were delayed for 4 hours due to the infamous third engine nostart problem.
Last time I went to Hawaii, we flew on a 737-700. Was a pleasant flight. I would have preferred a 777 or 747...
Some day, I do intend to fly to Hong Kong and possibly Japan, perhaps to move to Japan, and want to fly Cathay Pacific.

@SarraPiyopiyo I've never had the pleasure of flying on an md-11. Flew on dc-10s loads of times though. Always remember being a little nervous because of the infamous cargo door problem. Still a good plane

@aspiringdrummer17 True! I guess the image of the clueless french bumbling that cert test stuck with me a bit... And yes, the 767 is... A bit long in the tooth. I've flown on the 767 many, many times, indeed, I have flown on 767's in United's 'Rainbow' livery, Battleship grey livery, and in the 2004 white and blue livery. I've flown from San Francisco to Chicago on 767's many many times, as well as from Chicago to San Francisco, as well as from San Francisco to Honolulu (returned on an MD11).

@SarraPiyopiyo The French, British, Germans and Spanish. They all have a part to play in building them, but yeah i agree the 777 is probably the best passenger plane out there atm, although the 767 is nothing special imo. I love the 757 though. It's easily my fave airliner, especially now that they have winglets
@raykrislianggi I'd rather hear a whining GE than an exploding RR.

@paglo1209 because it is not necessary to do so. If a high street electrical device could bring down an Airliner, don't you think they would have been banned totally from flights?. Modern electronic equipment on Aircraft is sheilded from any magnetic field interferance anyway. It's like not using your phone in a petrol station, a complete myth that it'll blow the place up.
