Classical Guitar lesson - Barre Technique

Main points to remember when executing barres -

1. keep finger straight and right before the fretwire

2. make sure finger is not "curled" in the middle - this causes buzzing on the inner strings

3. keep elbow behind the barre and use the weight of the arm to press (not just the thumb and fingers)

Thanks man, now I can do bar chord :) but when I put other fingers my bar muted strings, I hope I just need more practice :)

I'm somewhat of an advanced player but still run into problems when barring in difficult pieces. I've read this theory a million times but decided to find some reference to review it as I've just started playing classical again after a very long hiatus. This is by far the best demonstration/explanation I've seen. Awesome teaching skills man!

I just can't do this , I don't know why , I always put my hand like this , and my finger like this , and after this lessons , I was trying , and trying , but I can't , I don't know what it is , but my fingers are like that . . .

I can't put my fingers like you did and put them on the flet , I can make my fingers like that , but it isn't logical , when you put your fingers like in practice and pull it back , to press all of them :((((((
