Yep, its a reality show that serves as a promotional tool for Sony/BMG. The fact that Carly was on the show in the first place hurts her credibility in the recording industry, hopefully, her talent and the notoriety she gained from participating will trump that slight handicap.

This is one of the very few times that I disagreed with simon, I thought this song was perfect for her! I did think she chose some wrong songs throughout the show but I love her voice :)
