Feral Heart Preset Tutorial Part 1 of 5

Well when i had a preset request to do, i thought, why not make a tutorial out of it? Seeing as many people don't understand how to make a preset :) So i thought i would be nice and show you.
This is the first part and i will be showing you what you need and how to begin making the preset, if you want to skip onto making the actual preset, then its toward the end of the video.

Please help?! DX im at 13:33 and im so confused... how did you keep the gray color on when you go back the the backkround? i really want to make a preset for my dog and i have GIMP 2.0. will some please help.

@CarsonsShadow You need to use layers. Layers are UBER UBER UUUUBER important if you are using my method to make a preset, as if you colour with one layer it makes the whole colouring in thing really tedious and much harder. With layers you can easily, erase and colour over without messing up any of the other colours. What i did at 13:33 is making the white layer invisible so you can see the background beneath it. It makes editing a WHOLE lot easier.

@MMORageQuitz Thats a shame, well i have no idea how to pay for them :/ theres always sharing the preset files with friends so that they can see it?
