Savannah Monitor Lizard XR2 Wk 3

Heading towards 18" now, if not there already (slates are 11&3/4 " long x 2), most of the shed is off, toes, tail tip all clear, had to raise basking spot from 115/120f to 120/125f , most likely due to his increase in size.
I've increased his prey size & he's still been fed a mixture of feeder fish & fuzzies/ locusts. 04/08/09

I love your videos. I watch them all the time. I could have sworn I subscribed to you. Just did. Savannahs are are my favorite monitors. I love them all but Savannahs just seem to be the one 4 me. You are an awesome keeper :) You really know how to care for them.

do you feed yours every day? that same diet?

@nvrstpsktn950228 she was feed large amounts of various insects bugs & mice & fish during her 9 week growth spurt.

Many of us have come to the conclusion that a mainly bug diet is better for them, freplace all that food in the vid with different bugs & you won't go far wrong.

It's easier to film feeding mice rather than insects, unless there chasing crickets.

he's a rescue i was told 6 months when i got him, add about 3 months on that, so around 9 months old.

I think he might be older but i won't know for another year or so.

He's x-rescue & i was told he's about 6 months old, that's all i can go by.
