@ Silent1Bane: You are entitled to your opinion, but the entirety of your MMA knowledge is likely based on watching it on TV. Come swing by TKMT in toronto if you want to actually learn a thing or two about what does and doesn't work. I guarantee you that even the women who train here would double leg you, lock you in an arm triangle, pass your (non-existent) guard and choke you unconscious (likely within 90 seconds). Now of course you would squeal for help and tap first, but I digress...

@adityasandhu I'm not going to get defensive. I know that 50% or more of MMA is wrestling. And I won't hesitate to get on the ground and roll. That doesn't mean I have to like it. MMA is (in my opinion) the most realistic martial art out there today. You start out on your feet, facing off. If it goes to the ground, so be it. Think about it, if you were in a real fight, would you say "Let's settle this outside! Get on your knees and lets roll around!" No. I hold my stance that wrestling is gay.
