ZS01E09 - Zoah's Minecraft seed exploration adventures: Ep09 - How to find and tame a wolf

Episode 9 of my first LP series "Zoah's Minecraft Seed Exploration Adventures: gargamel"

Patch 1.4 came out today with a cool new addition, tamable wolves. In this episode you will see me look for bones and wolves, as well as struggle to get my microphone to work properly.

If you are only interested in seeing the wolf taming section of the video, you just need to watch the last half of it where I talk a little bit about wolves and show you how to find them and tame them. Hope you enjoy.

++ Wolves can be lured with bones, meat and possibly other items that I didn't try...
++ Wolves are found in Taiga and forest during day time (maybe torches can allow it to spawn as well, I'm not sure). Basically look for places with a lot of trees, that's how I found them so far.

There is another way of getting a lot of them, it's cheating but depending on what you need it may be useful. I'm talking about using MCedit and adding a wolf spawner.

look for forests and taigas, basically places with quite a bit of trees. Not sure if you can find them in peaceful, in case you're playing that way.

search for the wolf starts at 5:05.. sound quality could be better, I'll try to re-do the sound and upload again later if people would like that.

im pro at finding them just go to taiga (better to look there)they spawn better there

How to find:

Create a new world. Seed: Taiga . You spawn in a "taiga". Then you look through the trees and with a bit of luck, you find it. I found wolves pretty early, 3 at once.
