Many years ago I was driving across the country by myself in a VW beetle. I had this song on a cassette tape and it brought me comfort when I ran into a huge storm in Texas. A few years later I was in Mack Wilberg's ward at BYU. I had known about John Henry Newman when I started college in Oregon. And here we are, years later, listening to Mack's arrangement of Newman's poem-put-to music. There is comfort food (like stew) an there is comfort music, like this.
Sung with grace and dignity.
So comforting to anyone who is open to the Light of the Holy Spirit.
