"today's talentless crap" christie? not fair. there were a couple of great songs from the the, but other than that they are not so great. this is the day and uncertain smile are good songs. their best album was soul mining, which was made shortly after columbus crossed the ocean to find america (long time ago). don't get me wrong i like the the, but you can't say nobody else has any talent. what about pearl jam? pearl jam came and went after the the faded. there are other good bands.

What happened to him? It is surely the best music around.... all day and all night it got me through art school.... on repeat.... one of the greatest tunes ever... still sounds so good!

Awesome song. One of my all time favourites. I remember waking up to the world with this song. Ahhh...the flush of youth. My oversized bold graphic "The The" concert shirt was my prized possession.
