So, yeah. I've had this idea for an Easter video for a long, long time, but unfortunately everything happened at once and also I didn't realize that the song, uncut, was six minutes. And it's a really pretty song and I don't want to cut it, but I cannot pull off six minutes of video in two very busy weeks while juggling a number of other things. Also, since I want to do a really good job, I figured I should try and get some critique on this. So, people! Full-on, nasty nitpicker mode please. I hearby give you all hats that make you think "I am the Great Spirit and Undisputed Empress (switch gender as necessary) of Vidding and Very Proud of It, and Furthermore Have the Duty to Be As Nasty As Possible to Mere Mortal AMV Makers Such As QueenOfDreaming In Order To Cause Them To Produce Good Vids!"

...No, seriously, guys. My sugared-up late-night rambling aside, please, I do want your advice and suggestions. (And to know what you guess the story to be.) Feel free to slam my editing as much as you want. I'm begging you for critique. However, please, I ask that it be my EDITING you slam. I realize this video is flame bait (leave it to me to combine Christianity and lesbianism; I swear I'm not trolling). I'm currently in a very comfortable position where my vids are seen, but not widespread enough to spark off controversy, but seeing as I just tempted fate like that, please respect others' opinions during any debates that start, kay? Thank you.

So, um, yeah. New crossover OTP here as well. (See below disclaimer for odd comment involving Lightning's real name.) The scenes with them were cookie-cuttered torment; do they need changing? And do you think the kids fit, or is the tone of the song too mature for them? (Their story thread is going mostly in the copious instrumentals.) Also, yes, there's a reason for the different colors, and for the switch from colors to newsprint effect. Care to guess what those reasons are? And does it work for you?

Though I don't go for yaoi or yuri I liked this. I liked the theme and I enjoyed that there is no masking. I get tired of seeing characters where they don't belong :P I thought it was well done. formaltaliti already stated that something glitched with the audio, but my vegas does it too so all in all I'd say you have a win. ^^

@formaltaliti Yes, the audio is glitchy. I do not know why; the file on my computer isn't. It was uploaded very close to the alternations, which might have had something to do with it. I'm really glad you liked it, though; hopefully I can make the final version even better.

@rini106 Pretty much dead right for the colors. The newsprint is what's going on in the black-and-white part, if you look close you might be able to see it looks a little grainy? That's the newsprint, and you're right, it's the sadness part; it's also meant to be a flashback, though. Sadly, I can't fit anything in the background cause I only get four video tracks. Thanks for all the critique, though; it really means a lot.

3. for the colors I think Blue is Cloud and Tifa's color Green is the kid's color Red is lighting and Aerith's color Black and white represents Sadness I did not see the newsprint effect used but I think it would represent a new begging or the ending of sadness.

4. newsprint effect is fine with me just don't put it on to strong.
