An afternoon project i put together the summer i was 15. The idea came about when the go kart I constructed had a (centripetal) clutch failure. For shits and gigs I decided to weld the inner and outer assembly of the cluch together, and use it for this. Hence you see the wheels are always in motion and the nose needs to be elevated to start it. You guessed it.....Ghetto fab! The motor is directly bolted to an old ATM deck and the axel is way too long.

It never worked, but that wasn't the point. Practicality wasn't a word that arose much on the set of Monster Garage. Anyways it's power to weight ratio surpassed that of a 2007 Porsche 911 GT2, so dont hate. Spare your suggestions, Iv got a Mechanical B.ASc now, and am well aware of the design flaw. Dont careee............

  • did you use your brain when you build this?

  • @Revovleit yes i did. read the description

  • The reason he has big fat wheels in the front seems to be the steering issue of running a chain across functioning wheels that need to never leave the ground and steer would cause the chain to twist, in theory a split board system on an axel though sacrificing some steering capabilities would allow you forgo the giant rubber tires for power and let you apply the power directly to the wheels on the board, only using one pair of wheels for steering. I'm sure the fat tires are sacrificing as much.

  • @The1nsaniac word. but the reason was I just had them laying around

  • ALthough a chainsaw motor would be my first choice, i guess you might as well use a OHC motor, i mean, what else is a clutchless motor good for, right?
