What type of shoes are you using and do you recommend them for parkour?

@xdaniel77 In that vid, I'm wearing a shoe called the Savant, made by FiveTen. However, I've moved away from the Savant to the Daescent by the same company. It's outstanding ... incredibly lightweight, and quite literally the best grip on earth. Do not, repeat, not buy the shoes that FiveTen specifically designed for parkour, though. They're not as good as the Daescent.

Love it. So amazingly clean. How long had you trained before 2005?

@NFPKChris I started with martial arts, got into flips, then freerunning, then parkour, so it's hard to really put a start date on things. I did my first PK roll in 2000, but I didn't do my first vault or cat leap/arm jump until 2003, and I didn't properly understand parkour until I was already halfway through filming this.
