I finally finished it.

No joke, this has to be the hardest project I've ever taken on. Honestly I trashed about 4 or 5 different versions of this project before finally deciding on the one you see now... which is why it took so damn long. I definitely wanted to bring something new to the table with this video... I really wanted to focus on a theme (and GSP's work ethic and training) rather than just the match itself (which has been the focus of my previous two videos).

I'm not sure if it flows as smoothly as I wanted it to, but overall I truly enjoy the end product and I hope you guys do too.

Thank you for your patience and I hope you feel that it was well worth the wait. Leave some feedback and let me know what you think.

  • @Bjpwz1 If you were GSP, would you just cave into the fans demands and risk your title? I doubt it. If GSP were so easy to beat, he would already have lost. Nobody has been able to penetrate his defenses, or match his athleticism, BJJ, Wrestling, Striking, Boxing. Nobody is as well rounded as him in the WW division, hence why he is still champ.

end rant, have a nice day

  • @Bjpwz1 Well thats not true at all, GSP has finished fights, I agree that he has become careful, but would you want to give up your legacy just because people want to see a flashy finish everytime? Give the man a break. He has to fight the tougest opponents, some who outweigh him (thiago alves), some have more reach and height, some are just much bigger (Dan hardy), yet still he breaks them down. People say hes a big WW, when in fact hes one of the smallest and walks around at 185lbs.

  • so many haters, shit

  • Wow I didst get to watch Dan hardy and gsp that's incredible

  • @jesse250 Yeah, look at Shogun.

  • GSP is the best athlete in this sport. A gentlemen and a warrior! He is what all fighters should strive to be.

  • BTW, I saved this video to my PC (don't worry i will never use it) for when i am training and need some inspiration....gets me every time :)

  • @ElisZotaj @ElisZotaj No he doesn't. GSP is in shape all year round. The most he's ever weighed on fight night was 190lbs, Firas said so himself. Georges has a hard time putting on muscle because of his body type (ectomorph). When he fought Alves he was 185lbs in the Octagon, so he's cutting 15lbs of fluids. Walk around weight has nothing to do with fight night weight, that is out of camp and not exercising. The guy has 7% body fat, do you know what it would take to maintain that?

  • @XxPuregruntxX actually GSp walk around at 210ish pounds

  • @xXCrusher509Xx so what...GSP = inspirational

  • @SirAlexJiang His true legacy is that he's the best Welterweight in UFC with many belt fights and won all of them, noticed i said won because in UFC it doesn't matter if you finish a fight or not, you can win with submission and decisions... And it's especially true with belt fights since they last 5 rounds. So i take it you're an idiot and you probably don't even watch UFC fights.

  • @XxPuregruntxX At this point, GSPs legacy is that he's a point fighter; nobody remembers point fighters. I'm impressed when he dominates people like what he did to Kos but the fact that he didn't try to finish him is silly. He doesn't have much of a legacy if can't finish the best. Silva finishes whatever is thrown at him as well as Jon Jones. Even if he's not the biggest, he's still a lot stronger and more athletic than most of the WW division.
