I have dubbed the video on to the previously recorded audio, and as usual have forgotton how I played it on the steel, hence sometimes you will see me picking the strings and there's no sound, and vice versa

Hi Latham,

I'm putting my steel through a Pod X3, then into my computer, via the 'Audacity' recording facility.

I use the X3 to get a dry steel tone, then apply a bit of echo (built in audacity effect) after I have mixed the steel track

Steel sounds good. I'm not too keen on the stratocaster sound in the mix - it's a bit too clean and thin for my liking.
