i noticed that you didn't put a sinker on the leader thats how i do and the ballyhoo swims very nice and smooth and it doesn't came to bouncing in the surface also i put just a little bit of drag as if i was fishing with live bait that way you let the fish swallow the ballyhoo and get a nice hook up
