  • Looks amazing. Better for camping if you have horrible allergies to smoke like I do. I love a good campfire for heat and looks but the smoke kills my lungs.

  • @jlbleeker It's like a rocket stove. Once the moisture in the immediate soil is driven off, the soil becomes a crazy good insulator, reflecting all the heat right back into the wood. There are other physics involved here too.... look up rocket stoves and how they burn smokeless. Wish I understood this when I was a kid with burning eyes and stinky clothes.

  • @toliverfive At 0:06 you can see a hole in the ground to the left. That hole is like tunnel which provides ventilation to the fire pit.
