  • We have a 3rd degree JKD artist who joined our MMA gym. Has been in it for around 15 years. He gets owned in training. And not the ground. In stand up as well. It's all relevant to the person I realize, I do believe Bruce would be an incredible MMA fighter if he was alive today but it would be because he studied BJJ, wrestling and MT. Not from JKD alone. Besides JKD didn't give birth to MMA, Pankration did by Greece thousands of years ago. Bruce just had a great mindset.

  • nice vid man like your blocking

  • @dawadah67 the idea behind JKD is to eventually combine and perfect every form of fighting known to man.

  • @dawadah67

I know all about JKD. I don't think that much of it.

  • @SouthParkBear - you talk a lot of Crap dude come to my school or at least call the school to see if JKD is real, This video was my first, 2006,

  • @SouthParkBear Yep which is why i never developed one. The only reason I mentioned those things is just like tech support for instance.Hey you know anything about computers?Well yeah balh blah blah.

  • @vamtheanomaly

It's not a matter of age, it's about getting fucked up.

Ego is the most dangerous drug there is, it's killed more people than anything.

  • @SouthParkBear Im not deluded dude, jesus....Im JUST SAYIN' JKD isnt useless.Damn your touchy.I dont think the ability to break the rules makes me superior...im way past the age to fight in an event ( Fedor quit at around 35 ), that doesnt mean I still like watching and talking about martial arts. The arrow to the knee was funny though, I lol'd.

  • @vamtheanomaly

Ok, this is the third time that I'm not impressed by your anecdotes about taking an arrow to the knee. That's three strikes.

Everytime someone talks about being a "street fighter" and having "no rules" it means they're a douchebag who wants to delude themselves into thinking thatthe ability to break rules makes them superior.

Fine, challenge the champions to a no-rules match and see what happens.

  • @SouthParkBear Im sure there are some that do.From my personal experience and from being in actual street fights it worked for me.I come from a background and time period where people didnt know what take downs were. OR being punched in the face and low kicked.Ive ran into many a paper tiger.
