They don't pay by the hour but by design because otherwise it would cost too much. I think this is a large part in explaining why there is no one willing to take on this art form. How sad.

Very good video my friend !!!! There is a magic in Lefkara.The whole beautifull stone build village,the silversmiths,the lacemakers,even the people inspires me! It's a place that is real unique.

Wow I would love to learn how to do this. After watching this video, I want to buy hand made stuff. They are more meaningful hand made. It hurts my heart to know that its a dying art.
