The alien "night surgeons" seem closer than ever as Logan Warden (Wayne Spitzer) and Gwen Rose (Paulette Hoffman) recall past encounters.
From "Don't Look Up."
Notes:
Wayne Spitzer's "Don't Look Up" (1997) and Andy Kumpon's "Last Stop Station" (2001) are great examples of the "car as set" school of filmmaking. The duo returned to the technique frequently, using noir flourishes such as back-lit cigarette smoke. Spitzer and Kumpon estimate that about 75% of "Don't Look Up" and "Last Stop" were shot in various garages, sometimes with only the car door itself and a lighting package.
