This is the closing number- You Can't Stop the Beat- from the final presentation of Hairspray performed on May 8, 2011. Hairspray was performed by the multi-award winning, nationally recognized Theatre Department at West Orange High School in Winter Garden, Florida, where they are under the direction of Mr. Ken Rush. Rush did double-duty in the show, taking on the iconic role of Mrs. Edna Turblad. The orchestra was also comprised of students from the WOHS music department under the direction of Ken Boyd and Robert Krahn. Additionally, the show was choreographed by Tara Whitman, with vocal direction by John DeHass. Tech for the show was entirely performed by students, under the technical direction of Jeff Wilshaw.
Apparently the upload caused the final part of the credits to be clipped. We want to apologize to the following actors whose credits were inadvertently left off the video, but who were nonetheless an important part of the show:
