@GeoginaGothGirl I wouldn't think that L would wait all that time just for his sucessors to solve the entire Kira case. It's not like L to do such a cowardly thing. Plus in the manga version, L didn't appear in the ending which is basically safe for him to show himself. So it is confirmed that L died. :(

Hmph, I believe that L is intelligent enough to know how to escape his own freaking death. Shit, he probably faked it since only Watari really needed to die in order to save Misa. Only Watari needed to die so Rem had no reason to kill L. L faked his death, stayed in hiding, and watched as Light died. Any questions? :L
