This is taking Cone and using what he's really saying in the wrong context. This is exactly the kind of oppression black people are still receiving from whites. Danny Capgun knows what he's talking about. If you actually study Cone instead of spreading this bollocks propaganda then maybe we will reach a place where race isn't an issue.
DannyCapgun is right. An excerpt from Dr Cone's book, Black Power and Black Theology:
"...there are places in the Black Power picture for "radicals," that is, for men, white or black, who are prepared to risk life for freedom. There are places for the John Browns (who was white), men who hate evil and refuse to tolerate it anywhere." (p. 28)
Cone called these people "black men in white skins."
Cone does not mean 'black' and 'white' simply as skin colours; they are symbolic of the opressed and the opressers. He is saying he cannot believe in a God that is on the side of the opressers and does not help the opressed. An example of Cone's theory is Exodus. Do not take these statements at face value, they are symbolic and have been represented in a very bias manor in this video.
This James Cone is just what he claims others are: a racist hatemonger. Jesus dying on the cross does buy forgiveness - you have to "give back" what "you've" taken "from black people"....I don't buy that crap! I didn't CHOOSE to be born one color or another, and neither did anyone else, so how can anyone logically believe that people "took" something from other people because of the color of their skin?
WE ARE A LONG WAY FROM DR. KING'S DREAM, and moving away from it with this garbage!!
Moses was prior to the "voluntary" death of Jesus. Jesus WAS NOT a victim!

This is out of contest garbage. No one who knows about context will take it seriously.
