He is playing but its put a bit down in the mix, john's vocals are all over the mix. Sid here plays bass as good as John's vocal timing and pitch.

Sid in the start played well and wanted to be a great rocker but the drugs got the best of him-too bad cause it shows in the early footage that he was doing well, however if u look at when they went to the U.S. fuck-that was bad news.

If they only stayed in Europe, just imagine. You can hear Sid playing, and it works. Someone should have kicked Steve Jones ass for pullin Sid's plug. Maybe Sid was to drunk to fuck. who knows? Malcolm should have kept better care of his circus. What a loser.

Oh yeah, Sid loved the bass. There's a reason there was only one gig in his solo career when he didn't play it. And that's only because that was his show with Glen Matlock, and they both knew damn well who the better bassist there was.

And, yes, Steve Jones is quite possibly the most underrated musician of all time.
