Does Building your own theoloy course still exist???

@brightwhitelight1 Yes, or at least it will exist wherever someone runs the course. Google "build your own theology Richard Gilbert" -- Gilbert being the author of the book the course is based on. The book is very good and lays out all the belief systems very plainly and helps guide you toward your own belief system.

Thank you for the very insightful video of UU. My questions are answered. UU is a place for the confused gays & lesbians that do not want to accept the truths of Gods Word: "Homosexual acts are an abomination to God." Leviticus 18:22 Pitty

@coastlinehb I am neither "gay" nor "confused" but it is true that I do not accept your very narrow and incomplete reading of the bible. Also, few UU's take the bible as the last word on anything, so quoting it is not going to persuade us of much.

As a "Red Letter" Christian I do feel the UU's are a place where I can worship freely. Do i have a different view of jesus than most UU's...Yes. Am i accepted...Yes. Do I accept and love those who think differently from me...Yes. We must learn to love and accept.

My religion is NFL and NBA. I like to preach Footballism and Basketballism to all the nonbelievers and convert them. And rally the streets singing, "We Are The Champions!"...my friend.

I sure hope you don't eat pork (Lev. 11:7) or crabs and oysters (11:9-12), have sex during your wife's menstruation (15:19), forget to make timely animal sacrifices (4:1-10), trim your beard or hair (19:27), or wear poly/cotton blend clothes (19:19).

Oh, and remember that slavery is okay (25:44-46) and that disabled people are too hated by God to attend services (21:18-23).

Otherwise you'd be a big, flaming hypocrite. Pity.

When people say they are, as the gal says at 5:10, "extremely spiritual" which I've been hearing for about 20 years...what do they mean? How does one like her demonstrate spirituality? By saying she is? By meditation?
