This is a tribute video to Tesla. I used clips from a couple of their music vids and various photos to make it.

The band was formed in 1984 on Guam, but called Sacramento home. They named themselves after inventor and engineer Nikola Tesla. They weren't typical of most hard rock/heavy metal acts, in that they wore t-shirts and jeans as opposed to leather pants and make-up. They mixed a lot of blues in their music. Their live album, "Five Man Acoustical Jam," greatly expanded their fan base. It's also believed that the album was the inspiration for MTV's "Unplugged" series. Tommy Skeoch left the group in 2006 to spend more time with his wife and newborn child.

The song used is "What You Give." Enjoy, and feel free to leave a comment.

  • love it.......................................

  • @velvins

Nope...Tommy was just bored with Tesla's direction (Balad band) and wanted to be able to rock harder. I guess I can see that but Tommy, Bro, let me tell you...the grass ain't always greener man. I honestly believe Jeff's voice will be the demise of Tesla..unless they can find a Philipino kid like Journey did;)

  • a great video to show how u feel about someone

  • great video, thanx for the upload. just to comment on your info on the video, tommy skeoch didn't actually leave the band to spend time with his family, he himself said that in this year's classic metal show interview, see if you can find it, it's really awesome and worth listening
