This just reminds me of my Grandad...This was his favourite piece of classical music, and every time I went to see him he would have it playing, and I too, overtime have grown to accept what an amazing work of art this really is :) R.I.P Grandad, 4 years today.

Wonderful piece of music by Vaughn Williams. Full of longing and emotion. When I hear this I close my eyes and I am taken along with its beauty and serenity !!

My favorite piece of music! It is so calming that I can spend hours doing homework for my college classes and I never tire of it. BEAUTIFUL MUSIC!

This is by and large my absolute favorite piece by Vaughan Williams. It's such a beautiful outpouring of emotion and passion, beautifully symbolizing a lark taking flight, slowly soaring higher and higher, its painstakingly lonely cry high above the beautiful English countryside.
