After a long process converting my Lotus Elise Sport 190 from a Rover VHPD 1.8L (5 spd) to an Acura TSX 2.4L with 6 spd, I finally get to drive the car for the first time (albeit through the neighborhood). Car weighs around 1650 lbs, so the new 2.4L is a HUGE power gain on track!

  • did you ever think about adding a jackson supercharger to it.

  • @SOFLOLIVE - I did consider it, but decided to build an 'All Motor' 12.5:1 Compression built engine. No regrets for now, but may supercharge later (changing out the pistons of course).

  • My favorite platform with vtec...im in heaven.

  • Did you mess with the FD? I read a good portion of your thread and didn't see anything on it, however I could be wrong. Here I thought my 92' hatch weighing in 1780 was good. I had the most fun with my car when it made 265 whp. Anything above that, I had issues. Nice build, much props. Love the attention to all the details. Have fun with it and enjoy.

  • of course its going to spin i mean the ground most be really cold.wait til summer and put on some summer tires it will hook!

  • THAT thing looks like a beast....a bit scary it would seem? Light and SCARY would be the word!!

  • Congratulations on this build! That thing will blow the doors off pretty much anything

  • I had a Old 100 HP 911, I got a tail and painted black, It might had 140 at most. Really appreciate this dedication and how you have planed for summer. Great job. Don't forget to give Vanna White a ride :)
