Roberta is always great and always moving and always all those things she should be, but this performance is, I think, a moment in a million: spontaneous, more than just the result of artistry and talent, it comes from somewhere else, we don't know and don't need to know where, and there it is, whatever Roberta found in it or in herself or whatever, and here she is sharing it with us in a way I can't describe, that way that stops you in your tracks.. Roberta is a miracle

sembra che dica pianccero'..poi non dicono che in questo repertorio la voce deve essere ferma....!!! poi la voce si'intuba in continua..specialmente sulle "e". per me ce ne sono molto meglio...la da capo meglio e le agilita' sono buone cmq.

Fantastic soprano voice almost has agile and leap as an music instrument. Concertmaster is such a virtuosic savant to include an outstanding arciliuto concertino part. I do not buy any CD album that substutute with a cembalo with lute stop on. I am looking forward to see more of Haendel including Judas Maccabaeo, Radamisto, Ottone and the likes. Years ago, I did not have much choice except to buy CD albums by William Christie and Sir John Elliott Gardiner CBE to enjoy comparable quality.
