i love the new laser but its a little to weak for some reason...

@sk8terhumes12345 It seems to be so when faced against vehicle infantry. For the greater good, in my opinion. There are plenty of weapons to counter vehicular combat, even more so in Halo 3 which defeated the purpose of getting in anything.

dudes its a game, yes anyone who had basic physics knows lasers arent anything like the spartan laser, shouldnt do splash damage, should be more like an focus beam. imo, the reason spartan laser is called a spartan laser, one it has spartan on the name, so it has to be uber-powerful, two it fires a straight red beam of insta-kill, aka a laser of insta-kill. hence the name. the old carbine it was on the same class of the battle rifle, and if u take a look on wikipedia u can see whats wrong here.

@sk8terhumes12345 Probably because everything in Reach is weaker? Bungie did that on purpose in order to make stuff more balanced but the game sucks because of that in my opinion.

@ld8able I know the splaser is a light based weapon, which canonically and realistically would be instantaneous. In halo 3, the weapon wasn't hit-scan, but was still near-instant, from a gameplay standpoint. In halo reach, idk about you, but for me, the laser felt more slowed down, and took slightly longer to hit its target. But hey, the spartan laser does splash damage, in which all lasers realistically don't.

@yourmom654321 it isnt that im being narrow minded which fits better than brain numb by the way, it is just that i prefer to stick to the reality of the situation, and FYI lasers are focused light beams, that vary in intensity. Also i was simply stating that here in the real world lasers would travel at the same speed no matter what kind of laser it is. Plasma beams however are a different story. Considering the spartan laser utilizes focused light for target suppression the speed is consistent.

@ld8able Light? wtf are you talking about? FYI, if you're too brain numb to get me, I was talking about gameplay, not the technicality of the weapon. halo 3's laser was a lot faster than reach's. and if you ever checked in theater, you'd know...
