He reminds me of another great Texas blues player Jimmy Vaughn. Minimalist cool style with the right feel and just the right notes.. nothing extra. I've seen him a few times at the Rock N' Bowl in New Orleans with Sam Myers

no doubt! even the right ones sound right.He is amazing and flowing with dynamic phrasing. Awesome!

Heh, I could maybe approximate the notes but coming up with brilliant improvised choruses like those.. Maybe in another life time.
