Hey guys, I've been off vidding for a while - work, vacation, general lack of inspiration and ideas, etc. So this is my first new video after August, and I'm kinda rusty - as will be evident during the video :P But Damon's sigh in 'Masquerade' after locking Katherine in the tomb - completing the hundred and forty five year old circle of love, desire, regret, agony and destruction - summed up his heartbreak so poignantly that it rocked me out of my hibernation :)

Thank you very much for the compliment, and I'm glad you enjoyed :) While I quite like dubstep, this video required the raw energy and angst of the original song (besides, no one can really do justice to LP's sound no matter how hard they try!) and not beats, given the devastating effect Kat's manipulations has on Damon... so, I'm extra happy that we both agreed totally on this matter :) Thanks again for watching and taking the time to leave me a note :)

@girlytomzzboii Hi girly :) Yes, you're right, Damon has it pretty rough on the show. He tries to please many people - Elena, Stefan, Kat, but they don't usually see his good intentions and just like to blame him for their hassles. Hopefully S3 Part 2 will see Elena appreciate him a bit more, since Kat is totally not interested anymore. It's also slightly his own fault for pretending to be a meaner guy than he actually is :D Thank you for watching :)

@iBumi And oops, in the middle of my rant, I totally forgot to thank you for compliment on the video - it's one of my fave songs and I think it's perfect for the way their relnship has left Damon... but he still adores her. Such a thin line, right? Too bad Kat wasted that line on Stefan, who was like, whatever, meh *rolleyes* And if Damon could have Kat, I think he'd have given up Elena, because Kat is, after all, his first love and obsession, from a time when everything about him was honest.

I agree with you about Kat - her hair is prettier, and in general she is prettier because she dresses better and is more feminine and LIKES to look good, while Elena is more of a tomboy and not a s*xycat :) I find Damon & Kat totally hot, and in the next eppy they're smooching *ooh, my heart* But she likes Stefan, so that's a bummer :-/
