He's got my last name! LOL

listen to other v-piano videos on youtube. so u will be convinced of the bad quality even more...
-
you are right the quality of the sound is not worth the price of the instrument. forget gem digital pianos: thAt's real craP!! try to compare a Yamaha or Kawai ... you will be more satisfied.

MKS-20 would've been golden in my books if I was able to select patches at the same time. Well it's still a wicked module that not many are lucky to have.

roland is very very expensive... GEM Real Piano is serious competitor... similar tech an more cheap... please Check Promega 2, 3 or RX-P module from Generalmusic. Piano Sound is really fantastic.!

It's much better than Pianoteq, but the only sound close to an acoustic grand is the "all silver" mode. All the other modes sound very far from an acoustic. I don't understand why they claim that the Vintage 1 mode is supposed to sound like a Steinway, I mean, are you nuts??

When will you begin to create a virtual listeners?
-
maybe a Gen II Oasys is coming =]

pianotteq sounds so bad compared to this modeling. almost every sampled solution out there beats pianoteq. (synthogy user here.)
The Korg Oasys can't be compared to the V-Piano. They are two very different instruments for very different purposes. The keybed in the Oasys is a toy compared to the escapement equipped PHA III graded hammer action of the V-Piano. Korg's piano patches don't touch the realism of the V-Pianos.
The Oasys is a cool instrument, but it should cost $3500. I think it's already been dropped by Korg and is gaining the reputation as a failed project for them.
