This is a vid of the straight pipes on my 96 Oldsmobile Aurora Autobahn. Just a straight up muffler delete, the Cat and Resonator are still in place.

I put the camera a little too close, sorry about that. I blipped the throttle a little bit in the middle too, couldn't help myself.

  • That sounds nice, i wanna do that to mine

Why do your tips stick out farther than mine?

  • @ipodtouchfan221 When they welded them on I asked if he could move them out and tuck them into the bumper a bit, one hung a little lower than the other before I got the straights and they were back under the car too much for my liking.

  • how much did this run you

  • @jjstayflyy $50 a pipe at midas. Just cut the mufflers off and welded in stainless pipes as a replacement.

  • @xjsmstr Mine was $45 and some welding to make it perfect. It makes it really deep with the glass pack. You should at least try it lol. I get around 23 mpg on the highway and 16-18 city.

  • @elradiuzi That's about the MPG that I get too, all in the 16-18 city range. You have straights on yours I take it, or glasspacks?

  • @xjsmstr Look at my videos. It's called "Aurora exhaust" and all of the info is in the description.

  • GAHHH thats so cool I love auroras!

  • aurora v8 were capable of 12,000 rpm's with very little mods. great motor.

  • I have a couple other videos of the straights, I rev it in one of those. You should check it out if you get a chance.

Gas mileage is kind of hard to explain haha. I'm sure I could tell a difference if I drove normally but I've noticed that I step on it a lot more now that I have the straights so I end up getting worse mileage!
