You should try making your own stuff, putting loops together helps one to learn how music can be constructed, but creating your own is taking the next step!!

when it jumps around like it does it is kind of like several small songs in one. it takes away from the value of the song.

I used pads or synths the whole time...ever heard of music called post-rock? It often starts out slow and then goes on large. I kind of used that theme and applied it to techno here. On the other song, I'll admit I jumped around too much. But on this song, there's always a synth playing, I don't jump from orchestra to rock to techno and back...
