  • The commercialisation of education is driven by global forces around the world.

Therefore this development can only be countered by a global movement!!

  • What about students who can't travel to other schools, or what about other schools giving out worthless degrees that no employers value.

  • Most of these students probably make barely enough as it is to pay that measly amount, because in order to get a REAL job (one you can live on), you need a degree of some sort.

  • Only idiot governors like arny advocate cuts to education. There are high schools in California that don't even have air conditioning, and don't have enough textbooks for every student. You want free market? Go to africa, where most governments don't pay for shit, and most people can't even afford elementary education. No social services breeds anarchy, warlords, and civil war.

  • A 100% increase in your tuition. If you can't afford it, then cut your losses and drop out before you ruin your whole life with student loan debt. Calif. almost went bankrupt, but on Feb. 20, 2009 a budget was finally approved. It includes $15 billion in cuts (mostly to education), $15 billion in new taxes, and $11 billion in borrowing (what IDIOT is going to buy Calif. junk bonds??)
