what was the fastest time by any of them? A stock r53 cooper S can do sub 16 seconds on a manual box. my airbox and exhaust modded S, as it was then, did a 15.0 once and im a crap drag driver. modded supercharged models on manual can do as low as 13s on road going cars

this gearbox is very nice when driving hard. it's almost as quick as a dsg on upshifts.

Yes but MINI dont use DSG boxes, also I assume thats in paddle shift mode, not stock auto mode?
Even so there is no way an auto should beat the times of a manual, unless the driver is aweful at using a manual?!
No way an auto even on paddle shift will out drag the manual in the UK... Do you guys have different ratios in the US on the R56 auto or something?!
