Production of shea butter from nuts of karite trees used in cosmetics, food and as a coating to protect houses is providing economic opportunities for girls and women while helping protect the environment. Produced by Horizon International as part of its one-hour TV program Burkina-be: People with a Future, the program is Narrated by Lynn Redgrave and Raso Ouedrago, and was filmed entirely in Burkina Faso.
