I was taught at by my grandfather and father that the after life is made up of infinite levels with the physical being one of them and after your physical body dies and the spirit moves to the next realm you move half the distance closer to the creator and then over some time whether it be decades or centuries depending on ur spiritual growth u move on to the next level moving again half the distance towards the Creator and so on. So with every level u get closer to Creator but never get there
