horsepower is good for nascar and any race that doesnt go from 0-whatever, my gsxr1k has more horsepower than my dads hayabusa but his busa has more torque than my 1k, so when the light turns green all i see are his tail lights

Logic i don't know where you went to school but for some reason your arguing that hp=ma which is wrong. Horsepower is a rate of doing work, not a force. Power(Hp) = NT/5250 Where N is rpm and T is torque. More torque = more hp. Ricers build hp with rpm and diesels with torque. A lower hp vehicle can accelerate faster than a larger hp vehicle.
